
Each year, Roosevelt County Rural Telephone Cooperative (RCRTC) sponsors multiple $500 scholarships. High School seniors whose parents or guardians are members of the cooperative are eligible to apply. The scholarship is for one year and is subject to confirmation that the grade point and enrollment as a full time student requirements have been met. It is available to members receiving service from RCRTC (prefixes 253, 273, 276, 274, 477, 478, 675, or 482) and their immediate families.

Yucca Telecom is proud to sponsor high school students who are college bound through our industry association, The Foundation for Rural Service (FRS). This year, the program awarded $75,000 in scholarships to rural youth across the United States. The foundation awarded 30 scholarships valued at $2,000. Ryan Best of Elida High School was awarded one of these scholarships from Region 10 (New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, and Oklahoma). Roosevelt County Rural Telephone will contribute an additional $500.
